Blog Journal 3

    Copyright means the exclusive legal right, usually given to the originator or assignee to print, publish, film or perform. Many properties enter into the public domain decades after the creator passes away, meaning they have no such restriction. Copyrighted material can still be used without any permission required in limited quantities if it falls under fair use, when only brief excerpts are used.

    Student privacy is important to have, as really anyone can see what anyone else is up to at all times if they look hard enough, so extra security is a must. As for decreased productivity, I would say the main cause of it is students not being engaged enough with the course material. If the course material is engaging enough, the odds are good that they'll end up being more productive than they would be otherwise.

    While making my newsletter, I found out that I could do all sorts of things I never thought I could do before. Some things as simple as changing the page color, and as tricky as pasting images in word without the application freaking out when you do so. Canva was also a great help in creating the banner, and I'm actually considering to use it more in the future, even outside of school.
